Badminton Ireland is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all of its members. Badminton can be played by all levels of physical ability, enhancing social opportunities, and improving overall health.
Para-Badminton provides players of different disabilities and backgrounds an opportunity to interact under a common purpose. It is a growing sport with more and more participants taking up the game either socially or competitively. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) recently annnounced that Para-Badminton will make it's Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020.
There are a total of 6 classes recognised by the BWF:

The tournament invitation and relevant forms for the event can be downloaded from BWF website. Please meet all the deadlines stated. Any entries that are submitted after the entry deadline or from an organization that is NOT recognized by the BWF will not be accepted by the Technical Delegate.
