Ulster Badminton Coach Workshops

Ulster Badminton are organising a series of workshops for club based coaches focusing on the development of player footwork. The 'Introduction to Footwork to Music' workshop will give coaches practical examples of how to development players footwork in a fun way different to the normal on court methods.
Workshops are free to attend and each coach attending will receive a footwork to music DVD. Anyone interested should contact Ryan Prentice at firstname.lastname@example.org to book their places.

Friday 31/3/17 @ Ards Leisure Centre, 7.30-9pm.
We are also delighted to announce that we will be bringing Andy Stewart from North Wales across on Friday 24th March, 7-10pm to deliver a fantastic workshop aimed at coaches working within our clubs. Andy has many years experience working within the game at all levels and with players of all standards. Andy is currently one of the mentors on our Propel Coach Development Programme and is a regular speaker at the annual Badminton Ireland conference. Andy has also spent time in Spain developing skill-based coaching programmes. He has delivered presentations such as; 'What are the playing basics', 'How to error proof players' and most recently at the Badminton Ireland conference on the subject of 'The use of Conditioned Games in developing tactical understanding'.
This is a workshop we at Ulster Badminton are hugely excited about and believe that it can have a positive impact on all our coaches working at a club level.
