**Day Two Report** Ireland beat Cyprus with added support from the Irish ambassador to Estonia Frances Kiernan.

Ireland finished the European Junior team championships on a real high after beating Cyprus 4-1. The team had added support in their final game as they got to meet the Irish ambassador to Estonia Frances Kiernan before their match. Frances stayed on to cheer on the team as they took victory in their final match in group seven.

“It was a day of highs and lows for us on day two of the championships. We started the day with a tough defeat to Austria. The team regrouped well and bounced back with a strong 4-1 win over Cyprus. We won two matches and lost two matches in our group and we will take away the positives from the team event as we now shift our mindset to the individuals. It was fantastic for the team to meet Frances Kiernan before the match and to take victory over Cyprus as she watched on” Irish team Coach Daniel Magee
